ABOUT Laura Tinard is a multidisciplinary artist based between Nice and Brussels at la Brasserie Atlas, a collective artist RunSpace, where she shares a mode de vie with a dozen of others artists since 2016. Her artistic practice essentially consists in a back and forth between writing and performance. Her main focus lies on the extension of fiction through the use of differents mediums as support to build a narratation fragmented into space and time. Over the past three years, she has been co-writing a novel titled Nice’Prime with Paul Lemaire, fostering a kind of collaborative cold war between Europe and the United States that happens to now be a major theme of the writing itself. She also runs Hi-Story A Post Performance Production House through which she assists and promotes many other performer-writers. She is the co-founder of the Performance Art Festival 3000 Degrees and SploachSploach, an anti-company for a big family. Having graduated from La Sorbonne Paris IV with a master’s degree in French and Comparative Literature (specialist of XIX and XX centuries), she is also graduated from the Institute of Arts and Choreography (MA), a department of the Brussels Beaux Arts. In 2019, she receives the danceWEB scholarship at Impulstanz under the mentorship of Anne Juren, Annie Dorsen and Mette Ingvartsen.
